The Stand on Liquid Big Wednesday Paddle Board is named after the epic 1978 film and features a classic look and shape. We love that the Big Wednesday SUP Board captures the essence of American surf culture in a modern paddle board.
This versatile All-Water board is a pleasure to paddle. The Big Wednesday’s epoxy construction and shape offers performance, while its substantial volume provides stability and support for both light and the heavier paddlers.
The Big Wednesday is constructed using a closed-cell EPS foam core wrapped with fiberglass layers and finished on top with classic surf vibe graphics. The result is a beautiful and durable board that will last for years. Remaining lightweight, this stand-up paddleboard makes transportation to and from the water or placing on top of your car a breeze.
Designed to be stable and versatile, the Big Wednesday is 11’ in length and 32” wide to accommodate paddlers of many sizes. The Big Wednesday features a US center fin along with two supporting side fins. The extended traction deck pad is made from a soft EVA foam. This provides the perfect balance of comfort and traction, allowing you to paddle further with less fatigue. The bungee tie-down points allow you to store your gear for all your adventures whether small or epic.
We make the Big Wednesday in small batches for the discerning paddler that wants the perfect blend of modern with the timeless look of the classic long-board. Being a sucker for surf nostalgia and this board being named after one of the greatest surf movies EVER I had to look further into this board. I went into Stand on Liquid and chatted with the staff and they let me demo this board to make sure it was right for me, it was!! The Big Wednesday looks awesome, paddles great and takes me back to my days of surfing in Malibu, just like in the movie "Big Wednesday".

Didn't know anything about the movie until I saw the other reviews. I bought it because I was a little too heavy for Caspian and I didn't want the wide Pacific. The Big Weds fit right in between. The shop guy said it had enough volume for me. He was right on with his recommendation. I feel like I'm now skimming along the surface rather than plowing through it. I've never seen the Pacific Ocean in person, but strangely now drawn to it...
