Hey parents: check out the Good Vibes Superlite 8’6”! Just like the adult 10’6” version, this board is all about good vibes. For sure the vibe is good, but the shorter version is also "superlite"--weighing only 14 lbs., the 8’6” version is perfect for younger, smaller paddlers just getting started on the water. Featuring 3 small fixed fins, the board is also easily maneuverable.

I purchased this board for my kids last summer. They had so much fun with it, its just the right size for them, they are 8 and 11 yrs old. It is light enough for them to carry to and from the water and being an inflatable it is, virtually, "kid-proof". I may have to get another one so that they quit arguing over who's turn it is...

Purchased this for our 11yr old son who is a beginner - he really enjoyed using it! Very easy for him to maneuver the board in the water. Bonus - he got a dry bag too! We especially like how easy it is to store in the storage bag and that it came with a pump!

We bought this hoping our then 11 year old would have a lighter board easier to manipulate, but it ended up being so difficult to control. We all took turns and it constantly swayed side to side as if we forgot the fin (we didn’t)! It might be better for maneuvering, but we returned it for a bigger board.
